What comes after 'nothing'?

Sometimes it happens that you reach a point in your life where you don't want anything anymore. You come to love someone so much, then you want to change things, do better, be better. Then you don't want anything. You are tired of fighting, wishing and doing.
You don't want someone else. You don't want to meet someone new.

Sometimes, the end of a relationship might be the end of your dreams.

When you realize that this has no future, you leave. Then, you change your mind. You come back. Then, you leave again. And you keep doing this until you destroy everything that's left in both of you - any kind of feelings, empathy, (self) respect, TRUST.

Where there's no trust, there's nothing. You try and try and try. But you just can't. At some point you might start missing the "old you", the one with ideals, the one that used to have beautiful dreams and wishes.
You don't know how to love anymore.

You feel guilty.

You choose to abandon yourself somewhere on a shelf. Some lose themselves in work, others in alcohol, drugs, parties...

You think that it will pass. But the truth is that you will never recover. This nightmare will follow you for the rest of your life.

Often, a person makes you want someone else. But more often it makes you not wish for anyone anymore.
